At Stewart Steel we have a very dynamic Industrial department. If your industrial application requires any steel work, we are your one-stop. Your projects can range from structural steel, abrasive wear applications (hardened plate – QT, AR, and chromium carbide), stair wells, platforms, railings, caged ladders and and industrial duct work. We also build specialty material handling products such as conveyors and augers, piping assemblies, manifolds, large capacity hoppers, tanks.
Because the realm of industrial is so broad, so is the scope of what we do. We fabricate for mines, power stations, grain terminals, and a large variety of industrial plants. With the experience we have accumulated, we want to do more than just supply materials and products. Our specialty is in finding solutions and taking on new challenges. With SolidWorks 3 dimensional modelling software c/w stress analysis, we can help you with any industrial project you might have, whether it be a small component or complex assembly.

Engineering and Design

Complementing the versatility of a fully equipped shop is a SolidWorks 3D (CAD) based design division that can take an idea from the concept to shop drawing stage, providing a one-stop service for both the common and specialized projects.

Custom Fabrication

Once the engineering and design is complete, your project moves to our shop floor. Equipped with the widest range of the industry’s best tools and operated by our expert team, our shop can handle projects of any size. We are CWB certified (Standard W47.1) for structural steel. We have experience in the evaluation and production of long-term solutions utilizing QT series and Trimay wear resistant materials. Our shop team members are CWB certified, and our processes are ISO 9001:2008 certified.
